Stephen Thomas "Steve" Skrovan (born March 4, 1957) is an American
producer, writer, and director.Skrovan grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and
went to Gilmour Academy during his high-school years. He majored in
English and was a varsity football defensive back at Yale, where he
graduated with a B.A. in 1979.Skrovan began his career as a stand-up
comic. He hosted a short-lived talk show on MTV, Mouth to Mouth, in
1988. In 1989, he became the original host of Totally Hidden Video,
which aired on FOX from 1989-1992. Starting in 1991, he was the host
for the first two seasons of the game show That's My Dog on what was
then The Family Channel.Skrovan co-wrote the 1993 Seinfeld episode
"The Movie". He was then a writer for the CBS sitcom Everybody Loves
Raymond, which ran from 1996 to 2005.
