Deric Payton McCabe (born August 28, 2008) is an American actor. He
plays Charles Wallace Murry in Ava DuVernay's adaptation of the
fantasy novel A Wrinkle in Time (2018); he was chosen out of thousands
of child actors after seven months of searching.McCabe was born in
Whitefish, Montana, but his family moved to Los Angeles, California
when he was just over a year old. Deric has an older sister named
Jadie. He is of Filipino descent.
