American actress. She has appeared regularly on stage as of s, and
played supporting roles in films include Sister Act () and its sequel
Sister Act : Back in the Habit (), Air Bud (), State of Play (), and A
Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood ().Makkena was born in Manhattan and
attended the Juilliard School. In , she made her Broadway debut in the
production of Pygmalion. She later appeared in Lend Me a Tenor and
