Although most companies celebrate in one way or another, celebrations usually exclude the majority of employees. Of course, there are sporadic birthdays and such, but many executives feel that frequent celebrations are a distraction from work. Owners and executives of extraordinary companies, however, have a much different outlook. They build cultures that include frequent celebrations by employee teams, as progress is made and milestones are reached. And those celebrations routinely bring even more success. As the cycle repeats, companies that support widespread celebration almost always outperform their peers.
