Marin Moraru (Romanian pronunciation: [maˈrin moˈraru]; 31 January

1937 â€" 21 August 2016) was a Romanian actor of stage, film and

television.He graduated from Caragiale Academy of Theatrical Arts and

Cinematography in 1961. Moraru performed at the Youth Theatre

(1961â€"1964), Comedy Theatre (1965â€"1968), Bulandra Theatre

(1968â€"1971) and National Theatre (1971â€"1974). In 2009, he received

the Gopo Award for Life Achievement.Moraru died on 21 August 2016 at

the age of 79.
