Margareta-Caliopi Pogonat (6 March 1933 â€" 11 May 2014) was a

Romanian theatre and film actress.Pogonat studied at the Institute of

Theatre and Cinematographic Art in Bucharest, graduating in 1959. She

made her debut as a student in 1957, and then acted in theaters in

BotoÅŸani, IaÅŸi and PloieÅŸti. In 2009 she received a Lifetime

Achievement Award from the Romanian Association of Theatre Artists.
