Carlos Sanz is an American actor. He is best known for playing Carlos
Arredondo in David Gordon Green's film Stronger.Sanz grew up in
Chicago and has two brothers, Steve and the actor Horatio Sanz. He and
his family grew up in the North-Pulaski neighbourhood in Chicago,
Illinois. He graduated the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he
studied Mathematics and Philosophy.Carlos Sanz is known as an
exceedingly versatile and talented actor whose roles range from the
emotionally tormented real-life character Carlos Arredondo, “hero
with the white cowboy hat†saving Jake Gyllenhaal in David Gordon
Green's 2017 film about the Boston Marathon Bombing, Stronger. A
corrupt Costa Rican official who beats up Justin Timberlake in Runner
Runner, also starring Ben Affleck, directed by Brad Furman. The sly
