William Alex Radovich (June 24, 1915 â€" March 6, 2002) was a National

Football League guard and "tough guy" on film. Also, he is the first

NFL player to file suit against the league.Radovich played college

football at the University of Southern California.Radovich played five

seasons in the National Football League with the Detroit Lions. He was

named All-Pro twice.During World War II he served in the US Navy from

1941 to 1945.
