Productions featuring popular Mattel character Barbie. The story was

the sponsorship of Mattel rival Hasbroâ€"as Maxie's World in 1988. The
story was based on the Barbie and the Rockers doll line in which
Barbie is the lead singer of a rock band. The two-part special was
later released on video as a single film by Hi-Tops Video.Barbie's
rock band completes a successful world tour and decides to perform one

("Barbie and the Sensations"), when Barbie and her bandâ€"whose name
has inexplicably been changed to the Sensationsâ€"come back to Earth,
they travel inadvertently back to 1959.
