Sripriya is an Indian actress who played leading roles from 1973 to
1986. She started to play supporting roles from 1987 to 1992. She has
acted in over 300 films, 200 in Tamil, but also in Telugu, Kannada,
Malayalam and Hindi languages.She has also directed films in Tamil,
Kannada and Telugu language, including the 2014 film Drushyam in the
Telugu cinema.She is a Core Committee Member of Makkal Needhi Maiam, a
political party founded by Kamal Haasan.She first faced the camera for
the film Vishali in 1973 and later Murugan Kaattiya Vazhi, directed by
P. Madhavan in 1974. Following that, she acted with Rajinikanth, Kamal
Haasan, Sivaji Ganesan, and Jaishankar among others.
