Raja Raymond Gosnell (born December 9, 1958) is an American filmmaker
and editor. He is best known for directing studio comedies and family
films Home Alone 3, Never Been Kissed, Big Momma's House, Scooby-Doo,
Beverly Hills Chihuahua, The Smurfs, and Show Dogs; most of his films
received a generally negative critical reception but performed well at
the box office.Commonly mistaken for being of Indian descent, Gosnell
is named after his father's friend Raja Mohideen. He is also known for
his collaboration with director Chris Columbus, for whom he edited his
films Home Alone and Mrs. Doubtfire.
