Archibald Winchester "Arch" Johnson (March 14, 1922 â€" October 9,
1997) was an American actor who appeared on Broadway and in more than
one hundred television programs.Johnson was born in Minneapolis. and
attended the University of Pennsylvania.Starting out in Philadelphia
in the 1940s through 1950s, Johnson worked in Community Theater both
as an actor and director.He began acting with the Plays and Players
Theatre in Philadelphia and was part of the world premiere of Stalag
17 while there. After he left Philadelphia, he studied for two years
at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York.
