Charles MacMahon (1861 in Bendigo, Victoria â€" 1917 in Melbourne,
Victoria) was an Australian theatrical entrepreneur and filmmaker. He
toured a large number of stage shows in collaboration with his brother
James. He also made several silent feature films, including the first
film versions of Robbery Under Arms (1907) and For the Term of His
Natural Life (1908). Both films are considered lost films.
